Yesterday, Year 12 and 13 English Literature A Level students visited Strawberry Hill House and Garden in Twickenham for a tour and an undergraduate lecture. The visit took place at the home of the first Gothic novel, Walpole’s The Castle of Otranto, allowing students to delve into the details of Gothic literature and learn about its cultural and social contexts. The tour and lecture complemented the students’ learning as part of their A Level English Literature course.

Last week a group of Year 8 students teamed up with Dundale Primary students to take on several front-of-house and behind-the-scenes roles at the Natural History Museum Tring.
They ran craft workshops with toddlers, checked and photographed the archives, understood some pest control practices, as well as welcoming visitors in reception and serving customers in the gift shop.

This week, as part of our careers education programme, our Year 12 students visited the London School and College Leaver Festival at ExCeL London.
The event showcased a range of future opportunities - including Apprenticeships, Further & Higher Education, entry-level roles, and general employment. It offered our students the chance to engage with England’s top Employers, Colleges, Universities, and Training Providers in a face-to-face, interactive environment.
Students received important information, advice, and guidance to help inform their decision-making when considering whether university, college, or an apprenticeship is right for them.#TringSchool #TringSchoolSixthForm #TringParents #Post18 #futureopportunities
