Hope days give students the opportunity to be off timetable and enjoy experiences that are centred around Tring School's values of Hope, Wisdom and Community.

All years offered the option to attend a Musical Theatre workshop in London and Kew Gardens.
Highlights from 2025
Year 7 took part in the £1 Enterprise challenge and came together as a cohort to celebrate their ambition, the skills they developed and challenges they overcame. They raised £2,450 for DENS charity.
Year 8 as a cohort participated in a STEM presentation and researched/presented on Ugly Animals. Their focus was on developing key research and oracy skills.
Year 9 came together to prepare for their 'Options.' Students had a presentation to consider their '4 year journey' and listened to Bucks College Group and the Sixth Form explaining the importance of choosing their options. They also researched their options and had time doing a carousel of taster activities for subjects they have not studied at KS3.
Year 10 watched assemblies from Hertfordshire University, Bucks College Group and Sixth Form
Year 11 came together to prepare for their 'Options.' Students had a presentation from Bucks College Group, revision from the Academic support team and how Unifrog can support their research. They then carried onto a carousel of activities including an interview from an HR professional, presentation from Sixth Form students, a presentation and assessment centre activities from apprenticeship provider Willmott and Dixon, and access to begin the Psychometric Testing on Unifrog.
Year 12 enjoyed an alumni event which showcases past students who have applied for apprenticeships. Students will understand the application process and engage in conversation with students who have applied to both University and Apprenticeships.
