Teacher Training in Dacorum
Our aim as an Alliance is to build upon the excellent collaborative working practice which already exists amongst our schools. Each school houses its own outstanding practice and we work together to share ideas, strategy and provision wider to benefit so many more students.
As a growing Alliance based around Hemel Hempstead, Tring and Berkhamsted we are committed to investing in the training and development needs of all of our staff to help them achieve their very best. We look forward to the exciting opportunities ahead that this Alliance will provide not only for our schools but also for the new entrants to the profession.
School Based Training with the Dacorum School Alliance is a route into the teaching profession which puts schools at the heart of the training process.
As Lead Schools for the University of Hertfordshire in the Dacorum Schools Alliance, we work closely with a growing partnership of schools and our ITT provider to develop successful highly motivated teachers for the future.
We will be offering a School Direct Teacher training programme in the following subjects for September 2027.

We also accept applications for Primary teaching.
