We have a large amount of lost property in the Dining Hall waiting to be claimed. This includes 4 black sacks full of coats, several pairs of shoes, glasses and water bottles.
If a student has lost ANYTHING please encourage them to take a look, and parents/carers are very welcome to pop in after the end of the school day at 3pm. All items will be donated to charity at the end of term.
Its been a very busy week here at school. We’ve had science workshops, Silver D of E expeditions, YR 10 playing their way to the District Cup final and Gold Award celebration afternoon tea! That’s just a flavour of the exciting events happening all round school. And capping if off today our Year 8 students are visiting the stunning Shri Swaminarayan Mandir (Neasden Temple)
This morning our Year 7 choir visitied St Josephs Care Home in Tring to entertain their residents. There were lots of smiling faces and joining in with the songs.
If your Y9 or Y10 student ordered a copy of An Inspector Calls, Macbeth, or A Christmas Carol (through Parentpay) they will be receiving them this week.
Please make sure your child has the copies that they have paid for and that they are named.
Reverend Banister led todays assembly for Ascot House, focusing on how we all have our own communities which give us strength and purpose. The students were invited to place stones on a small cairn, which can symbolise prayer and remembrance whilst acting as a focal point for meditation.
