Trips and Visits 2011-12

Tring School has always offered a huge range of different trips and visits to enrich the learning experience of our students and we would like to continue to develop this strength. However, we are also very aware that in the present financial climate this can put some families under enormous pressure.

To help with this process I have attached a list of all the trips from the last school year, 2010-11, that involved a charge so that parents can plan and budget for trips during the forthcoming year. Please bear in mind that some of these trips may not run again and others may cost more, or even less, as we seek to find the most cost effective options to enhance our students learning.

The list does not, of course, include a whole host of other trips that we do not charge for such as sports fixtures and local museums. In addition, we shall also be offering World Challenge trips to Ghana in July 2012 for £1,749.00, The Andes and Amazon in July 2013 for £4,195.00 and the four yearly music trip to Texas in October 2012 which will cost £965.00.
