I have worked for the Halifax Retail Bank for 28 years and am currently a Local Director in London. My experience includes finance, risk, training and development, people management, sales management, projects and change. I am qualified to post graduate level in Management.
I have been married to Ray for 31 years and have two daughters, one who is at Tring and the other at Aldbury, moving up in September 2010.

Kate is a parent-governor and mother of two boys currently enjoying their GCSE and A level studies. Kate has substantial public service, resource and financial management experience, having worked in housing and community regeneration for almost 30 years, including national Director roles. She is a member of the Resources Committee where she hopes her experience of good governance and strategic leadership will contribute to a vibrant debate and decisions to be taken about school budgets, facilities and personnel. |

She has a Masters degree in Human Resource Management which specialises in Training and Development and throughout her career has done presentations to High school students and assisted with career management issues when requested. Originally from Trinidad, Shalini has now relocated to the UK and lives in Tring. She hopes to make a solid contribution to the positive development of Tring School.

Initially a parent governor, Brian was appointed a Community Governor in 2006. After 30 years in corporate senior management roles, he took early retirement and ran his own consultancy business for 3 years. He now works as a part time Cover Supervisor in a Buckinghamshire Senior school. This gives him a valuable insight into the workings of a school, which is useful in discharging his responsibilities as a Governor. |
